AERFISH LLC was founded by Eric Daniels as an outlet for collaborations with some of the premier animation artists and stylists of the day. His goal is to find that perfect match between an artist's work and the programmer's.
Eric's credits include traditional animation work on Bakshi's Lord of the Rings, The Secret of NIMH, Dragon's Lair I & II, Space Ace, An American Tail, Who Framed Roger Rabbit, and The Simpsons; and computer animation for Duck Dodgers in the 3rd Dimension, Tarzan, Over The Hedge, Meet the Robinsons, Tangled, Wreck It Ralph, Paperman, Frozen and its companion short Get A Horse, and most recently, Big Hero Six.
IN 2002 he won a Technical Achievement award from the Academy of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences for the development of Deep Canvas, the groundbreaking process used to create the 3d painterly jungle in Disney's Tarzan. He also helped create the innovative technique used in the Oscar-winning short film "Paperman." He has his name on the U.S. Patents for both of these animation processes, and has been a speaker at animation and special effects conventions around the world.
IN ADDITION, he created the popular "Goldfish Aquarium Screensaver," which was included in Microsoft's "Media Center Edition" operating system.
